John Michael Wilshusen

John Michael Wilshusen is Chief Operating Officer of Parse AI. He is a third-generation oil and gas entrepreneur with over 100 years of oil and gas experience in his immediate family. Prior to founding Parse AI, John Michael oversaw land work in more than 30 Texas counties and four other states. He served as the lead broker on numerous land projects, including a Permian Basin development project with a $ 1 billion-plus budget and a land team in excess of 100 people.

John Michael has developed numerous software solutions, including a custom document management system covering West Texas that saved a client over $20,000 per year in document costs. John Michael has strong working knowledge of Python, machine learning, natural language processing, GIS, and database design and management. John Michael graduated from Southern Methodist University.
